http://www.albc-us.org American Livestock Breeds Conservancy is a nonprofit membership organization working to protect nearly 100 breeds of cattle, goats, horses, asses, sheep, swine and poultry from extinction.

http://www.attra.org  ATTRA - National Sustainable Agriculture Information Service, funded by the US Department of Agriculture, is managed by the National Center for Appropriate Technology. It provides information and other technical assistance to farmers, ranchers, Extension agents, educators, and others involved in sustainable agriculture in the United States. It offers production and marketing information in a broad range of topics.

http://www.carolinafarmstewards.org CFSA is a membership-based organization of more than 750 farmers, processors, gardeners, businesses and individuals in North and South Carolina who are committed to sustainable agriculture and the development of locally-based, organic food systems. It offers information about organic livestock production and marketing systems.

http://www.nunsuch.org/safesell.htm.  Courtney Haase developed Nunsuch Dairy, a goat dairy and cheese production farm. She then moved on to establish theSmall Dairy Project (SDP), a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3), which evaluates and disseminates knowledge to support sound management of small commercial dairy farms. The SDP defines a "small" commercial dairy farm as one which consists of a herd of not more than 50 dairy goats or the equivalent in fluid milk from lactating cows. The Project provides professional farmers who chose to operate at this scale access to knowledge and resources associated with more capital intensive enterprises. The Project offers support with pasteurizing equipment, pricing and production considerations.
