O'Sullivan Elected Officer of Regional Group

Greensboro, NC: Dr. John M. O'Sullivan, farm management and marketing specialist with the North Carolina A&T State University Cooperative Extension Program, has been elected secretary of the Agriculture and National Resources subcommittee of the Southern Regional Program Leaders Committee.

The Southern Regional Program Leaders Committee, an organization of cooperative extension professionals, meets annually to discuss extension programming and higher education issues in the region. This year, the group met August 26 to 28, in Birmingham, Alabama.

After serving for one year as secretary, O'Sullivan will assume the position of committee vice-chairman for one year, before becoming committee chairman the following year.
