A&T Workshop to Address Erosion

Greensboro, NC: A Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) workshop will be held June 11-12, on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University. Dr. George R. Foster, Director, USDA-ARS National Sedimentation Laboratory, will direct the workshop.

Foster is an internationally renowned soil erosion expert who has contributed to most erosion computer models developed in the United States. He recently received the Technology Transfer Award from the USDA's Agricultural Research Service.

NRCS staff, soil science instructors and students, city engineers, and people interested in soil erosion technology are invited to attend. Advanced registration is required.
