A&T Research Published in Poultry Science Journals

Greensboro, NC: Poultry science research conducted by scientists in the North Carolina A&T State University School of Agriculture recently appeared in two poultry science journals, and received reference in the magazine, Broiler Industry.
"The Influence of Feed and Water Withdrawal on Campylobacter jejuni Detection
and Yield of Broilers," research involving Drs. Willie Willis and Charles Raczkowski,
and Celestine Murray, was published in the Journal of Applied Poultry Research.
Willis and Murray also published a research note entitled, "Campylobacter jejuni
Seasonal Recovery Observations of Retail Market Broilers," and an abstract entitled,
"Campylobacter jejuni Colonization Assessment of Broilers on Different
Litter," in Poultry Science.
"Evaluation of Leaves as a Litter Material on Broiler Performance," an article
by Willis, Murray and Dr. Charles Talbott, was also recently published in Poultry
Science.
