Program Description:

A multi-purpose, fun and flexible learning experience, designed to help professionals and lay groups learn more about people with financial, social and educational challenges facing the limited-resources audience.

Target audience:

Professionals, para-professionals and others programming for limited resource families

 

Goals and Objectives:

To increase participants' awareness of the daily circumstances, concerns and feelings of limited-resource families and individuals

 

To help participants assess their understanding of people with financial, social and

educational limitations based on shared experiences

 

To foster sensitivity to limited-resource families and individuals that will assist Extension personnel and other professionals in building rapport and recruiting volunteers.
