To enrich critical thinking and problem solving skills among children ages 9-12 as they
explore the basic relationships between plants, the environment, and human health.OBJECTIVES:
Children will:
- Use the scientific method to plan and gather information from an experimental garden;
- Learn ways to reduce the risks of exposure to agricultural hazards;
- Identify and use alternative ways to solve food and fiber production problems;
- Explore careers in agriculture and related sciences
