Think about the jobs you’ve had or desired; nearly all of them come with training.
The job of parenting shouldn’t be any different. Parents need training and support to be the best at what they do.

That's why we at The Cooperative Extension Program at N.C. A&T State University developed Parenting Matters, a curriculum that teaches a variety of effective techniques.

Parenting Matters is designed for parents who need to improve their parenting skills and strengthen their relationships with their children.

Previous participants report salvaged relationships, better behavior, and improved communication including the simple, yet powerful, declaration of saying “I love you.”
