I serve as Associate Director of the Applied Survey Research Laboratory and as a Research Professor in the Department of Agribusiness, Applied Economics and Agriscience Education at North Carolina A&T State University. Other areas of my professional experience include: President of the College of Agricultural, Jamaica; and Executive Director of the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica.

The ASRL is a centralized research facility that employs an integrated system of cutting-edge computer; communication and survey technologies to conduct applied social science research. The ASRL provides support for faculty research, and valuable hands-on experience for students in the design, and implementation of survey research in a wide variety of social science disciplines.

If you were to enroll as student in the Department of Agricultural Education, Economics and Rural Sociology as an undergraduate or graduate student, you will study in a collegial environment and have an opportunity to develop valuable conceptual and hands on research skills which are in high demand in today’s information based society.

My areas of interests are technological innovation, transfer and diffusion; organizational design and institutional and institutional capacity building; human and social capital development and educational program design. If you join the NCA&TSU family in the Department of Agricultural Education, Economics and Rural Sociology, I will be very happy to share with you my experience in these areas, and guide you in developing skills in, and an appreciation for professional practice in these areas. Below are some of my publications reflecting my research interests:
