Dr. Godfrey Chima EjimakorAssociate ProfessorPart of my duty is to serve as the Undergraduate Coordinator for the Agricultural Economics Program in the Department of Agribusiness, Applied Economics and Agriscience Education. In this capacity, I work with undergraduate students to facilitate a smooth transition through the Department by helping to ensure that graduation requirements are being met. My teaching assignments include courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Undergraduate courses that I currently teach include environmental economics, agricultural finance and principles of agricultural economics. Graduate level courses include price analysis and agricultural policy. I previously taught courses in econometrics, production economics and farm management.Areas of research in which I specialize include: natural resource and environmental economics; agricultural policy and risk; and economics of information technology and services. I am presently working on two research projects. One is titled "Rural Restructuring: Causes and Consequences of Globalized Agricultural and Natural Resource Systems." This is a Regional Research Project, S-276, with participants form land grant and other universities mostly located in the southeastern and midwestern regions of the U.S. The project, which assesses community-level impacts of globalization, is being funded by USDAs CSREES through the Agricultural Research Program at North Carolina A&T State University. Research is being concluded on a project on environmental justice titled "Environmental Justice Initiative." This latter project is being funded by Southeast Food Systems and Education Consortium (SOFSEC) and USDAs Social Science Institute at North Carolina A&T Sah atate University. Classes:
