AGED 400 - Certificate in Agricultural and Natural Resources Information Science

Certificate in Agricultural and Natural Resources Information Science now available to SAES students.

AGED 400, 2 – 3:50 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, in Room 255 Carver Hall.

Starting in fall, 2004, students can build their computer skills and improve their job prospects by taking AGED 400 – Instructional Technology in Agriscience Education.

This course is designed to help students who want to improve their computer competence. However, students who are aiming toward a career in public schools are especially encouraged to take AGED 400, as it will help them to be more self-sufficient in solving basic technology problems in the classroom. The course will cover basic maintenance and troubleshooting of computers and networks, as well as current technology used in presentations by agricultural education instructors, including PowerPoint and the Internet.

For more information, contact Dr. Marcus Comer at marcusc@ncat.edu
