Blue jean confidential
Extension Associate Denise Humphrey is collecting worn out blue jeans to present to three Reidsville girls who were featured in a Solutions for North Carolina impact story about their innovative entrepreneurship. The girls used a 4-H youth development program, Mini-Society, to help start a little business making purses out of used jeans. Please bring any jeans you’ve worn out (only the top portions are used in the handbags) or that are now too large following the New Year’s diet, to Humphrey’s office, on the second floor of Coltrane Hall, by Friday, March 16. And please don’t say anything about the blue jean drive to anyone who might unwittingly say something to the girls — this is going to be a SURPRISE!
