A&T fashion students pull the wool

SAES fashion merchandising and design students helped to make a warm and fuzzy holiday season for 20 children in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Greensboro.  The students are all members of the organization Fashion X-cetera, and they have been working for a month on hooded fleece pullovers for the little sisters and little brothers as a community service project. The pullovers were presented to the children at a pizza party in Benbow Hall on Dec. 7.

“It really makes you feel good when you can do something like this.” said Tashyka Ledbetter of Charlotte, president of Fashion X-cetetera. “We wanted to do something for the community, and we wanted to do something that relates to our majors, so this is what we came up with.”
