Extension has opening for small farms agent

The Cooperative Extension Program at A&T has an opening for an area Extension agent, specializing in small farm management, who will serve Hertford, Northampton and Bertie counties in northeast North Carolina. A bachelor's degree in agricultural education, Extension or related area is required, and a master's degree is preferred. Job responsibilities include coordinating educational programs for increasing revenue generated on small-farms in the region through alternative enterprises, and management and marketing strategies. The application deadline is Thursday, Sept. 28.
