Volunteer State gets guidance for 4-H volunteers
Dr. Shirley McNeill of The Cooperative Extension Program at A&T was invited to present a workshop at the statewide 4-H in-service conference for Tennessee Cooperative Extension's personnel in Nashville in early May. McNeill's presentation compared community-based 4-H programming with an after-school approach to programming. She also shared strategies for recruiting adult leadership and organizing community-based 4-H clubs that have proven effective in 4-H/Youth Development work coordinated by The Cooperative Extension Program at A&T.
