Fortunate 500

The National Organization of Professional Black Natural Resources Conservation Service Employees provides $500 scholarships to 10 students at A&T and other 1890 land-grant institutions each year. High school students planning to attend an 1890 as well as current students majoring in agricultural or family and consumer sciences are invited to apply. The application deadline for the scholarships that will be announced in December is Oct. 15. Applications are available online at http://www.tnstate.edu/usda/scholarships/pbnrcsenat_scholarship.htm.
