Copies of the SAES newsletter on the move   will be showing up in the mailboxes of stakeholders on the mailing list this week. Faculty and staff can get a sneak preview on the SAES website. The front-page story in the current issue of on the move  concerns a new focus on men’s health issues that a new Extension nutrition specialist, Dr. Montreka Dansby, is bringing to Coltrane Hall.

Dr. Donald McDowellAnother recent addition to the SAES website that will be of interest to faculty and staff is the SAES’s annual report for the 2008-09 academic year. Dr. Donald McDowell, interim dean, honed in on “Becoming a Five Star SAES” as a theme that emerged from a comprehensive (58-page) look at the 2008-2009 milestones for the SAES’s four academic departments, the Cooperative Extension Program and the Agricultural Research Program.
