NC A&T Family and Consumer Sciences
Student Organizations

Students in the North Carolina A&T School of Agriculture's Department of Family and Consumer Sciences are encouraged to participate in student organizations, such as:

• American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences
• Kappa Omicron Nu, a national honor society for the Human Sciences
• Gamma Sigma Delta, a national honor society for agriculture
• Food Science and Dietetics Club
• Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective all-discipline honor society

These organizations open the doors for interaction among students, offer dialogue with practicing professionals, and provide exposure to current research and career opportunities. Student organizations also give students a place to turn when they want to add a “family” feel to their college educations.
