The primary responsibilities of Dr. Willis are teaching, research, and service. His research interest involves food safety problems with Campylobacter jejuni and other pathogens in poultry. Additionally, Willis is involved in health and disease problems affecting all poultry species. He actively provides food safety educational workshops to consumer groups. Other outreach efforts include providing information and advice to small poultry producers encountering problems.
